About William

Will’s passion for science and his interest in the latest technological developments led him to pursue a career as a patent attorney, and he joined the Tech team at HLK in 2016 after completing his Masters degree in Theoretical Physics at the University of Manchester. Will’s Masters degree afforded him a good understanding across the breadth of physics, and whilst completing his Masters projects he gained expertise particularly in the fields of quantum magnets and computer modelling.

Whilst at HLK, Will has prosecuted UK and European patent applications relating to a wide range of physics, software, electronics and communication-based technologies. Will has gained particular expertise in drafting and prosecuting AI, machine-learning, cloud computing, and other software-based patent applications.
