About Keisha

Keisha joined HLK in 2020 after completing a PhD in the Materials and Devices for Energy and Communication group at the University of Bristol. Her work involved investigating the potential for minimising electronic systems by using single organic molecules as components in circuits. During her PhD, Keisha enjoyed sharing her enthusiasm for science with other women, and encouraging women to get involved in physics, through her involvement with the University of Bristol Women in Physics Committee.

Prior to completing her PhD, Keisha gained a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Bath. This provided her with a broad range of knowledge covering many aspects of physics.

Keisha has an interest in the application of science to real life scenarios. She enjoys being challenged intellectually and has, so far, enjoyed the problem-solving aspects of her training.

Outside of work, Keisha is a keen cyclist and often races for her local club.
