Barbara has extensive experience in the formalities aspect of preparing and prosecuting patent applications worldwide derived from over 33 years working in intellectual property.
Barbara’s broad experience includes all aspects of preparing and processing applications and supporting documents for filing International, European and foreign patent applications and the validating of European Patent Applications in each European country.
She also has extensive formalities experience in filing Design applications worldwide together with filing European Community Design applications.
Barbara joined HLK in 1998 from a very well respected London based firm of patent and trade mark attorneys where she was a patent formalities assistant. Prior to working in London she had over four years’ experience working as a patent formalities assistant for another well respected firm of patent and trade mark attorneys in Dublin, Ireland.
Barbara has been awarded the Certificate in Patent Administration from the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys in London.
